I have managed to download and install the gatso camera, mobile camera and red light database onto my mio 168 using TT3.

The cameras show up as POI's on the navigation route, should i get a verbal warning of the camera site and if so how do i activate this please?

Regards

Hi Seagull,

Welcome to the forum! Thumbs Up

Do you use a POI Detector? If you don’t then you can use CheckPOInt 2.0.2 , which is free.

You can create your own verbal warnings by visiting the following website:

Regards,

cool. it's not actually saving them for me, just playing them in quicktime. Is there a way to download the files I've created from that site?

Could a moderator please delete my above post. I forgot to disable HTML which screwed up the instructions. (Done - DavidW)

CORRECT INSTRUCTIONS :

I found a (long winded) way to download them for anyone who wants to know using a bit of very basic HTML :

1.) Open a new, blank notepad file and enter the following text :

<a href="http://elvis.naturalvoices.com/cgi-bin/ttsdemo-act-new/@6666/output_1.wav">YOUR SOUND FILE</a>

2.) replace the address above with the address from your sound file)

3.) Go to file -> save as and change 'save as type' from 'text documents (*.txt)' to 'all files' from the dragdown menu. Enter a file name of sound.htm

4.) A web page should now be present where you save the file called 'sounds'. Open this. Now you can right click the text that says YOUR SOUND FILE and save it to disk.

5.) To save further sound files, just keep copying the new sound address over the old one in the original notepad file, go to file>save, which will overwrite your old one, then press refresh in internet explorer. Now when you right click the 'YOUR SOUND FILE' link in internet explorer, it will save the new sound file.
