Greetings all.
I have installed Vito Navigator V2.0. The only functions I can get to work are the Lat/Long & elevation. As this was all I wanted to use it has worked fine. I now want to use the other functions ie: Compass, Sky View, Speed etc. These at the moment are not working. Is it because I have the trial version or have I got a problem with my receiver settings?
I have the Medion/Aldi bundle with the Royaltek mouse.
Hope you can throw some light into this problem.
P.S. I also had the very same problem with the Navio program, but that only gave me Lat/Long and not Altometer (although it did show a reading only once).
Thanks in advance.
Rad

you may have to reprogram your receiver to also include the GSA, GSV sequences.

Thanks Lutz. I think you replied to my earlier post last week regarding the Vito program. If I recall, you sugested using the Crux program. I couldn't work out how to re-program the receiver, didn't want to start messing just in case I screwed the receiver up completly. Is there a 'fools guide' available?
Many thanks for your reply.

There's no "Crux_View for Dummies" available yet, but it's pretty straightforward. Here is the user guide

http://www.transplantcomputing.com/downloads/cruxmanual.pdf

Start Cruxview, select the appropriate COM port, speed 38400, and tap "open"
Make sure you see at least some sats before you go to the "protocols" tab.
There specify the NMEA sequences you want ant their frequency, and then tap on "Set NMEA update rate"

Thank you Lutz.
Everything is now working fine. There were a couple of 'settings' set to 0. I made one of them 5 and the other 1. Both programs now work.
Once again thank you for your help.

I too run the aldi/medion ppc250.

After reading this theme I thought I would give Cruxview a try. Big mistake! Crying or Very sad Embarassed I push the 'switch to SiRF' button. How do I get back to nmea?
I have hardreset and reinstalled but still no satellites.

Please can somebody help.
