I think it is XLS, at least I hope it is as I am in the middle of generating some POI's for my new copy of CoPilot 5!

I found POIconverter 3.09 (the link to the home page is in the downloads section) works well; it converts just about any format of POI files to any other format. It works on my copy of XP SR2.

For importing them, I'm following the instructions for importing the "safety" camera POI's into CoPilot.

Good luck. Cheers,
Mike

The Pocketgps camera download already has the .XLS files for CP in the archive.

Cheers,

You can use any TT OV2 file, it's a two stage process. Using POIConverter, Click on File open, change type to TomTom OV2 and select from list of your OV2 files. POIConverter will then show imput from and the path to your selected OV2 file. Click File Save the save file screen comes up, change type to Autoroute.CSV and save.
Using Microsoft Exel open the CSV file then save it As Type .XLS
This XLS file can now be used in CoPilot.

Thanks Graham.
I'll do as you suggest.
Doesn't the direct conversion from ov2 to xls in POIconverter work for CoPilot?
Cheers,
Mike.

CoPilot will quite happily import .csv files, do the import from excel but select the .csv instead of the .xls.
