Well great so far, but now im being picky, could any of this be made to work in real time from navigator its self?

Or is that wishfull thinking on my part.

Barryd should be congratulated for this very useful add on.

I have one query - following the instructions, all is well with the PPC disconnected from the cradle and GPS - the data converts and displays the relevant map location. Once connected to the GPS TomTom switches back to the current GPS location view without showing the input coordinate location.

Is there any way around this? My only work around so far has been to input the coordinates before connection to the GPS. Then if I need to input a further location I disconnect the PPC from the GPS and perform a soft reset.

Having turned off that option, there will of course be times when you do want to move the map to your current (or most recent) GPS position. To do that, just tap on the satellite fix symbol on the right-hand side on the grey bar above the map graphic.

Barryd, thanks for this. Now works perfectly.

This utility makes navigator far more useful (to me) as I often only get a OS Grid ref to locate a site that may be in a farmers field.

Now I can locate it on the TomTom map and navigate straight there.
