If the Nozatec that you buy runs iGO software, The PGPSW camera database can easily be put on it in *.txt file format, and the result is a directional warning. This is not hearsay or third party rumour, I've got the 7" truck version and have put the PGPSW database on it multiple times.
You can also put 'ordinary' POIs on it. I believe in KML file as GJH says above. But I haven't done that myself.

Well .. I bit the bullet on Thursday .. delivered this morning (Saturday) .. that is service ..

but ....

not exactly intuitive is it .. (perhaps it's my age . Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes ) but getting there .. really could do with a user guide to explain some of the various menu items

Not getting any joy with map updating ..

http://www.freemapsupdate.com/ took me to naviextra .. OK .. trying to register .. Noza tec isn't on their list ..

Downloaded their toolbox .. runs on the PC but can't see the device ..

don't panic ....

Try to find out which version of iGO it's running you can then get a manual on line.
The Noza maps are not updated from naviextras.

Yep .. my error on that .. not sure now how I got onto naviextra .. freemapsupdate takes me to Pnavi .. downloads tab takes to a logon page .. can't get beyond that .. don't see how to register .. says use user name 'pnavi' but not got a clue about a password .. tried apparent serial number from device but it doesn't accept that.

where is the nearest brick wall

igo is 9.2.0.191493 .. May 11 2011 ..

thanks for putting me right ..

keeping on keeping on

The truck data should be in the ? folder depending on setup. I'll assume its Primo. x:\primo\content\map\ It has the extention *.ftr and a filename similar(ish) to "United_Kingdom_R3_NQ_2012.Q2_120731.ftr"
The *.fbl file is the map.
The *.fda file is the driver alert data which only works with NQ maps.

Thanks to all our subscribers ...

I am now using the latest available version of the maps .. isn't too difficult when you know how, is it?

However, when, in the future I update them again, I expect I shall go through the same trauma .. (I do have the instructions saved .. just hope I can find them when I need to!)

Now fighting POIs

I found this thread

http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Hints-and-Tips/IGO-and-Primo-POIs/34445/

which was a great (for me , indispensable) help

.. I have put my Autogas stations on, but not got the correct icon showing yet .. keeping on fiddling

Thanks again ..
