GO 500 camera update

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can confirm. Connected GO 500 to PC MyTomTOm states I have a update to download labeled 1 SDN.002.00 valid until 14.09.2013

Is this just a file allowing for the trial of camera's?

I presume the GO 500 will update camera OTA on subscription?

Yes it's a speed camera update. There's a slight clue with the "show selected countries" link, as that shows all the countries where the speed cams are available.

The cameras should also be updated over the air with a good LIVE connection, the live connection should override the on-device speed cam database from MyTomTom.
