I've been trying to link my account to my new(ish) phone after my last one died, but every time I put in my account details it says:
Quote: | Status:No connection to the server. Please try again later |
There is Internet access. CameraAlert is even able to tell me what the latest server database version is, so it's able to get online at that point?! I've tried with a connection over Wi-Fi and 3G. Phone is an HTC One X.
Not sure what how to progress. Every other app can access the Internet fine.
Thanks,
Anders. |

Hi,
May be quicker if you submit a Support ticket from the tab at the top of the page.
The Staff etc will get around to reading the Forums but I would submit a ticket to be sure. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Does it still do it if you completely exit the app and reload it?
Does it do the same on both wifi and mobile data?

MaFt | Yes and Yes. Restarting (with fast boot disabled) didn't help either.
Was also able to download the initial update of the camera database (i.e. the 1 free update). Tapping "Subscribe at PocketGPSWorld" takes me to the website. |

Okay, worked it out. My password had special characters in it. I've changed to just alpha numeric and I'm in.
For info, password was: qX4%N&$Wk^
Don't worry, each website has a unique password |
