Just bought this from Halfords and am pleased with it.
However, put Warner POI on and then the safety camera database, does it give you a audible warning when approaching one ? Got it set to do that but don't get one, also the petrol stations, does that give you audible warnings ? |

Hello mate I have purchased one of these gadgets, but found the map needs updating the m6 toll road is not even on there, have you managed to find any updates for this. any information would be helpful

Yes the warnings are given when you approach speed cameras but not for petrol stations.
Presume you converted the speed camera database to ascii file before putting it on PPC and that you are using the Medion POI Warner.
Also check that you have activated the pocket gps gatso overlay, press - start,- POI Warner,- POI Manager,- POI Settings,- Overlay settings,- tap+- box and put a tick in the overlays you want to monitor.
