Greyed out options

I have a TomTom VIA 125 for which I have 3rd party POIs downloaded onto it.

Now.....if I...... (Tap screen) - (navigate to) - (point on map)......it doesn`t show POI.

If I tap (Options) at the bottom the option to show POI on map is greyed out along with Favourites and Satellite images.

I know for a fact I could navigate to a point on a map which was highlighted by a POI on an earlier TomTom.

Does anyone know if this can be resolved through the menus ( it doesn`t appear to me that it can )....or is it something that will eventually be implemented by TomTom at a later date.

Are you **sure** you had a solid GPS fix when you tried this???

I have the solution for you...

It's a basic (stupid) limitation of the TomTom graphics.

If you have "Traffic" ticked, you can't have POIs or Favourites showing. It's one or the other.

Untick "Traffic" and you'll be able to select the other items.

I think they thought it would get too messy on-screen if you had EVERYTHING showing, but they are so desperate to show you the traffic, that they keep automatically switching it back to that view.
