Hi,

What GPS setting have you got set in the GPS Driver?

I’d do a soft reset of your 2210.
Delete the pairing for the Clip-On
Do another soft reset of the 2210.
Ensure Bluetooth is on and use BT manager to create another pairing with the Clip-On (use passkey of 0000).
I haven’t got my set-up with me but you may have to tap the GPS icon in the BT Manger and make sure that it becomes SPP Slave (or something similar).
Is the Clip-On set to NMEA?
Ensure that your GPS Driver is set to the same as the Clip-On.

Regards,

My tried everything to to get it to recognise, my settings are on nmea but would not connect so i have re installed tomtom gps v3.03,

the reason i uninstalled tomtom gps was becuz the tomtom navigator would just freeze up literaly evry 500yds and i would have to exit navigator and restart again, i am totally at a loss as to what to do with it now.

If you get a chance would you tell me what the best settings are to get the tomtom v3.03 to work with fortuna bt clip on, it seems if i uninstall tomtom gps then navigator will not let me set up a connection with the fortuna although i have already set up a pairing using bt manager !

Surely the navigator should not b freezing every 500 yds i can understand it if it was evry 500 miles but it's getting beyond a joke, i hav not had a single journey with the navigator working throughout.

thank u for your replies :D

Hi,

I have a BT unit (although not Fortuna) and v3.03 and find that nmea0183v2 setting causes regular freezing of the Tomtom software as you describe.
Try selecting Tomtom Wireless GPS and COM 8. I have no freezing with that, may work for you.

Steve
