hi all, just got my satmap today and im trying to plot route for 24 peaks challenge (unfortunately not online anywhere to steal) !! so ive found the route i want here http://explore.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/os_routes/show/1843

BUT, the grid references which for example are "GR 194150" wont work on the online route planner page, do i need to convert them to another format? how?

any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

GR - I assume refers to Grid Reference - and the six numbers is the reference. That is OK if you are using a map, but for a a GPS you'll need the Grid Square (NY in this case I believe - set the Route Finder to show OSGB & GB OS in top right)

so it will be something like NY194150

I am not sure the route shown on map matches the trail described - as it doesn't go through start point or bridge described

if putting into satmap - 6 figure reference is +/- 50 mtrs, satmap will show 10 figure references - OS grid references

I'd use something like The Hug:
