:D

Hi All

Just a few quickies re TT3 BT IPAQ 2210, sorry if they have been asked before:-

(1) When starting up TT3, is it necessary to have to start BT first? can't this be done automatically?

(2) When just driving along. it is possible to display the navigator 3D map and not the normal 2D map? if so, how?

(3) Adding my home; I know that it is the 1st entry in favourites, but only seems to be available from the map, not the navigator. When I arrive home via navigator, is it not possible for me quickly to tell TT3 that this is my home?

(4) I only have a 128MB SD card, which at the moment is holding UK maps and postcode software. If I wanted to add speed cameras as well, would it fit?

(5) Following on from (4) what do I need to download and from where?

(6) If I need more storage, would I be able to add a CF card and use that togther with my SD card?

Apologies for so many questions, as you can see, I know nuffink.

Regards
AB

1 - You need to manually switch on the GPS. (Only the Navman has some kind of standby mode and wakes up on an incoming BT connection). You don't need to start the BT before TomTom, but then sometimes TomTom feels offended and disables the GPS port so you have to check the box again.

2. sure. Switch to Navigator mode, and then tap the screen and select 3D mode

3. yes. Tap the map, then cycle through the pages until you see "Memorize this position". Later on you can move it up to number 1 on the favorites list.

4. Get a bigger card

5. - not my area of expertise -

6. technically yes. but this can result in some slowdown. Speaking of which, if you can choose between CF and SD, then choose CF. Much faster, and still cheaper.
