I currently have Western Europe but it only goes as far as Germany and I need Poland. So how much would it cost to add this one country?

The Poland map will set you back £39:95 its only 57MB in size so you might even be able to add it to the device without removing the map its currently got installed.

PS if you update the map you have already installed to the device TomTom Home should offer a new zonal European map, selecting the Eastern version will give you Poland but the UK&ROI will be missing along with a few other countries.

The zonal maps are in five different sections, you can download all five zones to your PC but only one can be loaded to the device at any one time - Mike

In which case your device didn't come with the Western & Central Europe map, you still have the option to purchase the single Poland map for £39:95 though - Mike

Then give TomTom support a ring on Monday morning and ask them why the eastern zone map section isn't available from TomTom Home, if they say its not possible due to the type of device ask them how much to add it, if you are lucky they might add it for nowt (I doubt it, but no harm in asking), the number is 0845 161 0009 - Mike

Could it be because I only have the Western Europe maps?

Yes this is the reason: Western Europe (as the name says) doesn't include Eastern Europe Wink

For possible options it depends the device you have (you didn't say), especially the internal memory and the availability or not of a SD slot.

If your device has only 1 GB internal memory and no SD slot, your only choices are to buy either the Poland map (and it will fit togheter with one of Western Europe parts) or the Eastern Europe that for the same price will give you more Countries (size is 222 MB, so a very tight fit)

I believe (and I stand to be corrected), that the OP has a 910 and an XL2.

He mentions a Western Europe Map, which originally came with a 910, and if so it has more than enough space to hold most of the TomTom Maps.

If it is the XL2 Europe, this comes with W&C Europe Map (which includes Poland). This from the TT Web Site.

It's the XL2 I'm talking about. It's never had Poland as far as I remember, even when it had the original smaller whole map it came with (before I used the latest map guarantee which made me choose North or South. And with last week's update to 865 it made me choose between North, South or West.)

If it's an XL2 then you should have 2GB internal memory and the W&CE map (it may be called Europe but it's exactly the same map).

In this case you already have Poland included in your map. You can simply switch zone using Tomtom Home.

Only little problem is that you can't have UK and Poland on the same zone.
