Hi,
Is there anyway to configure the T3 so that it automatically goes into landscape mode on opening in any application ( such as navigator ) ?

TIA

I have used e-reader on the T3 and this program remembers the display format last used and re-applies it on opening. I think it is something that TomTom would have to do as an upgrade to the software. I agree it would be very useful so I guess that if enough of us ask then I suppose they will put some resource on to it. Is anyone 8O out there good at drafting a request letter addressed to TomTom requesting the above if so post it here and we could all submit a request Smile
Regards Tal

I did ask TT support about the fact that the extended input keyboard always pops up whenever you extend the T3's slider with Navigator running. This is a pain since I never use the extended input keyboard with TT Navigator, and the icon is a very small one to keep having to tap.

TT support said that all aspects of the T3's screen behaviour was driven by the T3Dia extension applets, which are sourced from PalmOne - so I'd have to contact them about it. Considering the lack of support from them that I've experienced, that's not very good news. Sad

I'd guess that the same applies to which screen orientation mode that TTN opens in ...

I have my T3 set to landscape and it always reverts to this when its turned on. Similarly Navigator boots up in landscape mode. If you have selected landscape mode I'm not sure why your unit does not remember this. :D
