I'm sure I'm being stupid and that this topic has been covered many times but I am having problems getting poi's onto my 1490t. I downloaded from the site but obviously am not putting them in the right place to get onto the device. Am technologically inept so a how to boil an egg guide would be useful.

You don't put them onto the device yourself, you must use POILoader to do it. Page 50 of the Owners Manual

However as it's also been answered in your duplicate post here i'll lock this one.
