Trying to download- Camera database 8.031
Onto a Garmin Nuvi-

Empty zip files and error

The operation couldn‘t be completed
SafariError,Domain error (0.)

Garmin upgrades stopped working @ Safari v3.3
Garmin oK’d (Pocket Gps)

Previous camera upgrade from (Pocket Gps)
was very successful using Mac 10.58,
Then, I changed to Mac.snow Os.10.62.

The Snow Leopard, is also extremely flaky, on other apps,
and may be the culprit. Otherwise ‘tis me.
Has anyone any idea, out of this problem, many thanks.

Hard to understand what your issue is from your post there Ken. Reads more like a crash report!

Any chance you can try and explain in plain speak? I'm using Apple Mac's with Snow Leopard and all working OK.

For the zip error, we recommend using The Unarchiver app for unzipping files on a mac. Much better than the built-in solution.

Have found that gamin is not really safari compatible.

Use firefox instead.

Hi - I'm on Snow Leopard and have no problems at all - I use Stuffit to unpack the files and they install first time every time.

I had no problems using Snow Leopard - I used Firefox and the Garmin downloader add -on /plug in

The process ran smoothly
