How to enable auto turn-on?

Just bought a tomtom Go 750 Live and I'm struggling with one small problem. It doesn't seem to want to turn on automatically. My old Tomtom Go Classic was great. I jumped in the car, turned on the ignition and the dear old TT came to life and carried on as normal.

Now, I have to turn the blessed thing on every time. (It was worse, as until this a.m. I had endless legal disclaimers and the blasted owners details displayed every time too)

Anyway, does anyone know how to get the 750 to behave like the classic and just come on automatically. It switches off automatically!

I don't think the TomTom will turn on automatically anymore, it's a facility that was removed years ago. The latest power button hasn't helped turn on either, it's very pretty but not as easy to use when you can't see it

Correct. Owing to an issue with the x10 mounts they removed it and despite many new models since they have not re-introduced it despite many frequent please for them to do so.

It seems such a simple request that it switch on/off on with ignition controlled power, can't understand why they won't reintroduce it.
