You need to report the fault at www.tomtom.com (click on Support).
Make yourself an account there, search the FAQs and then you'll be able to e-mail them. You'll get an incident number in return.
The support people will respond, probably suggesting you let the battery fully discharge and then recharge it. If that fails they will give you the URL for getting an RMA number and sending it back.
I don't think the repairs department take things back unless you've been through support.

Neil,

I just received a new TT BT and it has serial number X4060XXXXXX. I suspect that they are constantly updating the thing. I am yet to have heat related problems but do not leave it in sunlight for too long. I keep it in the central armrest cubby hole which is probably not too hot.

My TomTom Bluetooth GPS will turn on and off, but the green light stays on constantly and it is not possible to make a blutooth connection.

Unlike the rest of you though, my fault doesn't seem to be heat related. I never leave it in the glove box, but always take it with me when I leave the car. It was working perfectly when I popped to the shops, but after being switched off and walked round sainsburys this afternoon, it started displaying this fault.

I've emailed tomtom, and am currently discharging the unit to see if that will solve the problem. Am guessing I will end up sending it back for repair though Crying or Very sad

Lost Boy, your fault is exactly the same as what I experienced, and a brand new BT GPR receiver arrived about a half hour ago, 1 week after my first contact with TT, not to bad I'd say, cost me nothing either.

Status reported that my receiver was repaired, but the replacement starts with the serial code X406 so is new.

Now to test it, and I have a nice long drive down to London in a bit as well.
