Help please

I have just bought a Garmin nuvi265WT. Can anybody assist please?


(1) I would like to transfer my favourites from my TomTom GO 730 to the the Garmin is this possible?

(2) How do I install the latest speed camera Database to the Garmin?

1/ Download and install POIEdit to your PC which you can get from Here
Copy the MapSettings.cfg file from your TomTom map folder to the PC and use POIEdit to open this file.
Edit the contents so it reflects what you want to save.
Choose the File/ Save As option and change the file type from ov2 to Garmin Comma Separated .csv and name the file "Favourites"

2/ To install POI files to your device create a folder on the PC and unzip the camera database to this folder, also add the csv file you created above to the same folder then use POILoader (which you can download from the Garmin web site, click Here) to install the POI files to the device - Mike
