Hi
This is a question relating to my TomTom gps receiver, rather than any software. I bought the receiver a couple of weeks ago and it's been working fine. I knew I was going to be using the device this evening, so thought I'd better give it a charge today before I go. When I plugged the mains plug into the device, the red led hasn't come on. I wasn't able to hang around for long to see if it would come on after a while. Is this normal? In the past, the red light has come on straight away when charging and, from memory, would go off when fully charged. The instructions that came with the receiver were minimal to say the least! I've also asked this question of TomToms e-mail support, but judging from comments I've read on this forum, I'm not expecting a quick reply.
Well, apart from the obvious (maybe it is already fully charged ?), tne no. Mine comes up with the red charging light within a few seconds.
When it is completely discharged, and I connect it to the car charger, it requires at least 5 mins before I can actually switch on the bluetooth and reconnect. It then works fine whilst re-charging, but I found the requirement for an initial charge a bit strange. Anyway, if it works and you get around 5-6 hours once fully charged, then you seem to be OK. _________________ IPAQ 2210 Rom 1.00 CF 512MB
