After doing a reset of settings, everything works except HD Traffic.
It tells me that I require a valid subscription, yet it works fine on Navcore 8.
When I go in to My Services, it lists a number of "Unknown Service" which I believe are my HD Traffic subscription.
Has anyone else seen this?
Finally v9.024 is showing up in TTHome today for the 950. Does anyone know how to find the URL for this please?
Many thanks! |

The only thing I had to do to get it working under 9.024 was to re-enter my account details in preferences as it seemed to lose them updating from V8.
The V9 if it cannot get a connection to the server within a certain time will disable the HD traffic and you have to either reboot by holding down the power button until you hear the drum roll or by disabling then re-enabling connections in flight mode. This can take several attempts in certain areas, between Palmers Green and Southgate Tube station is one area where I always get problems. I assume the idea of this is so that if you cannot get HD traffic it will revert to TMC if available, it does that on mine but I have issues getting a TMC signal in my car. Then again it could just be a difference in the hardware and the software cannot cope with the x40 under all circumstances. _________________ Drivelux |

I have tried using Navcore 9.024 but the problems remain.
When I try to use HD Traffic I am told: -
"You need a subscription for this TomTom Service (your current subscription may have expired). Visit tomtom.com for more information."
When I go in to LIVE Services, the top three items which normally say HD Traffic, Safety Alerts and Fuel Prices show as "Unknown Product Name [9978], [9979] and [9980]".
The expiration of these and all of the other services are in the future.
I am able to use weather, Google etc - the only thing which does not work is HD Traffic.
All of these services work fine on Navcore 8.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
Many thanks

The unknown product names on my device are the ones which normally appear as the expired safety alerts when using V8 but on V9 they show as unknown product names 9978, 9979 and 9980 with the same expiry date as my subscribed services. I have HD traffic at the top, 3 unknowns, safety, fuel prices, Google, Weather, Buddies & QuickGPSFix. Today I was messaged on the device about the new Hotel Booking Service which might appear on this list next time I connect to Home. _________________ Drivelux |

I am glad that it isn't just me.
Could someone with a 940 with Navcore 9 confirm that they see HD Traffic in the list of services please?
Many thanks

I have it working though I seem to have lost the voice command feature.
HD Traffic and all the other LIVE services work but I often have to do a hard reset before it will connect to the servers. |

It seems that it was a map issue!
I downloaded the new Western Europe map today and everything is working fine now.
How odd! |

If your old map was v835 and installed using TomTom Home it was probably the following files at fault:
tmccodes.dat
traffic.dat
Home would copy these two files from the download to the device so they exist in name but with a file size of 0kB so they were empty which resulted in no traffic data at all, HD, RDS or GPRS - It was/ is a known fault - Mike |

Noted Mike & thanks.
Seems that I can return my 950 to the shop now as the 940 works just as well and has more features! |

|

I have been experimenting with my GO940. This sytem has been loaded on the microSDcard. Normally I may not use the Go for a couple of weeks and when lying at home it will retain a good charge over that two week period. When I load Nav9BlueMe (which works very well and properly connects to Live etc) with the card in place, then switch off, in less that 18 hours of non use (switched off) the battery 'low warning' shows when i switch it on with the small on screen battery icon flashing in the red zone. It is as though the unit has been not switching off fully. Anyone else seen similar? |

I don't think anyone here will waste his or her time helping someone who is using hacked software....... _________________ David |
