Device not recognised

I have just returned from holiday, and I am unable to connect my device to the PC in order to install new camera file.

I get a 'Device Not Recognised' error. I have tried rebooting changing the USB lead and using a different port but nothging works. Any help please?

I'm using a TT 740T with XP. Everything was OK last time I used the setup, the only thing I can think of is that I powered everything off whilst I was away.

OK forget it!

Reading through my post I realised the ONLY thing I hadn't done was a reset of the device.

Paper clips are magic!

Used to have one stuck to my 720 just in case. On the old 910's I had a sewing needle stuck in the car headlining as the reset hole was buried so deep and was so small that nothing else would do!

on my 910 I keep a (thin type) paper clip looped onto the cases D ring
