Charging LiPo

Okey ;first post here.
Im from Norway so English is not my native language,so be gentle!

After a fatal chrash of my Magellan XL I needed something with a big screen and boatcharts in addition to topocharts and so I choose the Satmap.
Allso I bought the powerpack which seems like a good solution in my boat.

Trying to charge it ,it seems that it will take forever? according to manual the lightning symbol will dissepear when fully charged. I think that 24 hours would be enough since the manual says 9 ? But the lightning symbol does not go away!
Im running the latest 1.328 sw.

Hi janerik, the charging signal does not go away - you just have to guess but a couple of hours should be ok if the charge is low.

I spoke to Satmap about this and they said that they are looking to include a fully charged sign (similar to the way the iPOD does) with the software version 1.4 in late 09/early 10. This new feature may only be for Li-Pol batteries as there are too many variables in the battery world.
