yepp. I have grown up and decided that I want to surf the internet while I'm in my bed. Away from my main computer. I have a ipaq 2210, no wlan. Only what we here in Sweden call Blåtand, and you guys in UK say bluetooth.
Thanks.

I have in the past connected my Ipaq 5450 with the irda from my nokia 6110 however the connection is very slow and not really worth bothering with you will end getting frustrated waiting for the pictures etc to download and you will end up running up a large mobile phone bill i have a wireless set up at home and i although i can use my ipaq with this set up, even that is slow so i don't bother. |

Get a cheap bluetooth dongle for your main pc, plug it into a usb port and activesync using bluetooth. If your bed is within 10m of your pc, you can browse the web this way. |

I use a BT Connection to my laptop to browse the web at home using my XDA. Just launch Active Sync and then use Internet Pass-Thru. I can easily connect to my laptop downstairs from the first floor bedroom which in range terms is as good as my CF WLAN Card on the 2210.
If you don't have BT on your PC get a BT Dongle, they're very inexpensive these days and syncing via BT is much more convenient _________________ Darren Griffin |

In ActiveSync, Tools | Options - Rules, at the bottom ensure Pass Through is set to 'Internet' and you should then be able to launch IE on the PocketPC and browse the web, retrive TTNav Traffic Updates etc. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Assuming you have WM2003, GoTo Start | Settings - Connections, Connections, switch to the Advanced Tab and tell me what setting you have configured for the Internet connection (the top one)? _________________ Darren Griffin |
