Normally you go into recent orders in your Amazon account, and fill in the returns details. You can then print out a postage labels. On some faulty items you can choose refund or replacement and, if you choose the latter, they send the replacement immediately and then charge you only if they don't get the faulty item back.

Refunds are actioned as soon as they receive the returned item.

I have been fairly lucky with all the recent updates. No stuttering etc but I do suffer from the screen redrawing problem. It mainly occurs while my mobile is connecting to my 520, just get the map background, no roads, poi cursor etc.

I have also lost the use of the document reader. I stored a few text files with contact details etc on them but the TT refuses now to open the docs. Nothing happens when you press on the document icon Sad

Tom 740L came home from Scotland -after a total of 7 days away from home !!! - all working -- we hope

Connected to phone -- did the phone book and reads out the texts -- great

One problem -- I seem to have lost the voice..

"Connected to Maurice's phone" when it connects
-- any ideas on how to switch it on..
-- also just noticed that you have to connect to phone from the screen
-- rather than it automaticaly doing so?? as before.

Bought the years subscription to the LIVE services -- unfortunately paid for two years -- but hope it will get sorted..

Going to take it for a drive -- hope it don't "fall of the road" again

Maurice

Do you mean it used to do this but it doesn't since the repair? If this is the case you need to enable one of the computer voices such as Kate (Change Preferences/ Voice Preferences/ Change Voice) then select Kate from te presented list - Mike

-- I do have Kate [computer] enabled and does the route directions OK
-- and reads texts etc..
-- just thought it might be in the Phone bit some how !!

will take it for a road run to test it

I dont know if anyone else has found this(i havent read all the posts) but the line out(headphones) no longer works for me.Even tho i have selected it,the voice still comes out the internal speaker.

I found that the FM out did not work when I first used it but I selected internal speaker then back to FM and it worked fine.

Found a bug,
Anyone confirm this?
(0n 540 unit)

Using voice control.
Navigate to favourite then select a fav from the list.
Mine picks the correct one on the list but plans the route for another one on the list.

Tried a few resets but still the same.
Kev

Sorry, read through 8 pages of this thread and couldn't see anyone reply to this. My 940 does this on item 4 in my favourites. I have deleted and re-added it and it still does it.

Aw c'mon, Andy! Surely you want your map to be always up to date? Benefitting from the submissions of millions of users world wide?

I swear one of these days I'm gonna browse to Serbia and correct the speed limit to something similar to the F86 Tomcats that are burning it up!
