I have a Garmin 760T with the Garmin free trial camera locations (Cyclops) installed.
I would like to use the Pocket GPS database which I did a few years ago on my previous Garmin.
The Garmin database only shows camera locations in direction of travel but I seem to remember that the PocketGPS used to show camera locations on the opposite side of the road, even when there was no camera for the direction you were travelling.Could anyone tell me if this is still the case please and also would I need to remove the Garmin database or just disable it by taking the tick out of the box ??
Thanks
Rog.

Hi there. Sadly Garmin still reserve the directional warnings feature for their own database.

Our data contains directional information and we would happily include it on every device but currently few permit it. In Garmin and TomToms case you would be forgiven for thinking they do this to encourage you to use their data in preference to ours Wink

Whilst you can simply de-select the pre-installed database, we would advise you remove it to prevent any duplicate warnings etc. This is simply done by taking a backup of the file located in the Garmin/POI folder then deleting it.
