When planning a route via a certain stretch of road TomTom refuses to include this stretch and plans the route via some other convoluted route.

Even when using "Prepare route" and starting at one end of the road and stopping at the other (straight peice of road of about half a mile)) TomTom still goes via another route and not the direct one.

I've checked that the road hasn't been "blocked" but it doesn't appear to have been and I'm at a loss as to what's going on.

Anyone.....

It would help if you could say exactly where this road is in a way that people not familiar with the area coulf look on their TTs and try and help.

It's on "Sundon Road" just outside of Luton, at the junction of "Sundon Park Road" to where it joins the B579 Nr Chalton .

If you plan a route between these two points you will see that it doesn't take the direct route but goes off down "Sundon Park Road" towards Leagrave.

PS

My map is...

"United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland" v 710.1571

Must be a map error but the road appears broken around GBR @51.92624°N, 0.48515°W even on the latest maps.

Same here. tried it with fastest route and shortest distance and both the same. Had a look on correct location and its a two way road with no restrictions that i can see.

If I search to those coordinates and zoom in fully, on my map there is an unusual little glitch on both sides of the road about 1/4 inch below the cursor.
You can create routes immediately on either side of it, but not across it.

I've reported it to TomTom.
