Assuming you bought your 2200 recently you should have 1 years upgrades using navigon fresh, i know as i have done mine recently (well every month since I bought it on Boxing day).

I did get an activation code for Speed Cameras that came with the device but is only valid for 3 months. I'm suprised you got 1 year.

I'm contemplating getting POI-Warner from www.poiwarner.de inorder to use pocketgpsworld.com camera database. I think they have the most up-to-date database compared to what poihandler.com have to offer - having used pocketgpsworld since 2007.

The BIG question is, after subscribing to POI-Warner and installing it to the 2200 Navigon/ PC, what database should I then download from pocketgpsworld that is compatible to the device?

I'm sure you will find POI-Warner is compatible with your unit. Going through the purchase process will confirm.

PGPSW's files need to be in asc format to be compatible with POI-Warner (not with the unit - POI-W runs independently). I use Navman for the speed-zoned files, which seems fine, but it probably isn't too critical as long as it's asc (others may have used other unit asc download formats).

useful for some info, unless you have already read it - you will see that Navigon are threatening to allow POI input directly themselves, but on what and when (if ever) is the question. Rolling Eyes
