Sure can! Laughing

Apparently there was a problem with the links on the version of the newsletter sent out, but the topic you're after (by that handsome chap... Wink ) is HERE

Don't want to blow my own trumpet, but maybe it could be added to the FAQs?

Dear Andy
Thanks for guidance for the above, but this now leads to 2 queries,
method 3a is thre a quick way to obtain the grid rererence withot having to plot a route there and tracking the point on the map of the route?

method 3b, great and qiick way to answer the above but I cannot convert this to a poi and obtain a warning for the cameras I locate, I will have to wait for verification and they are on the gpsw updates.

Am I missing something?

Yes, once it has saved the position as a Favourite, you can go to the "Browse map" screen and use Find / Favourite to view it.
The trick is to "show Coordinates" on the map which you set up using the "options" tab at the bottom.
For example:

Those coordinates in the bottom left corner always show the exact centre of the screen (- EDIT - no they don't: see Dennis's post below - they follow the cursor but that starts off at the the position of the Favourite unless you move anything, so you're OK) .
I then type those into the PGPSW camera submission map and adjust if necessary from there. (Once you have the exact position you want in the centre of the PGPSW map, don't forget to tap "Update coordinates" again).
Oh, and you have to leave off the "N" and use a minus sign "-" instead of a "W" on the PGPSW map page too - so the coordinates above would be typed in as "51.61701, -0.80723" (without the quotes)

All the methods are primarily for reporting the positions. If you want to convert it into a POI yourself, then you just need to follow the instructions to view your "pretend" map correction, and you can either write down the Lat/Long (once you have them showing on the map page as above) or once you have tapped "Back" and then "Delete" in those instructions, just exit the corrections pages and if you go back to Browse map you should still be in the same place.
You can then use the blue cursor button at the bottom as normal to add the position as a Favourite or POI.

I'm a bit tired, so if any of that isn't clear, just shout and I'll go through it again.

Nice one, Dennis....my mistake (I think I was confusing it with the PGPSW submission map)

I've tweaked my post above to reflect that (while still admitting I'm a klutz Cool )
