Just make sure you are logged into the PGPSW website with Internet Explorer, even if you use another browser normally.

If you're a paid up subscriber then login in to the forum grants you access to the member area and database,

PostPosted: Fri Jan 02, 2009 8:12 pm    Post subject: Adjusting overspeed warnings on Garmin Reply with quote

I have been using Camera Manager with a DNX-5220 but can't figure out how to adjust the overspeed warnings.

I have set the options for the overspeeds to 10% + 2mph and also separated out Approach and Overspeed. If I look in the gpx files created, the overspeed data appears correct (e.g. ...GATSO:1@46).

However, I still overspeed warnings as soon as I'm 1 mph over the speed limit.

Can anyone advise what I need to try to get this to work?

Thanks
Stuart

I have same issue and also it seems as if the approach bong is still going off even though I have it set to 0 for approach time.

I have noticed that some of the tSPECS cameras don't seem to show up on the latest version of Camera manager 2.7. tSPECS 58427 and 58426 on the M50 don't show irrespective of speed even with both display warnings showing

Where? On screen as you drive, in the Custom POI list or in the GPX file that is output?

I've certainly got them in PocketGPS_UK_Specs_Forty.gpx, PocketGPS_UK_Forty.gpx, or PocketGPS_UK_Specs.gpx (depending on Sort By settings)...

On screen - all other camera types seem to show on screen and give a warning apart from tSPECS ones.

They are in the .CSV file and I assume in the GPX file (don't have an editor for this) as I can search iand display them n the Custom POI PGPSW specs file

Everything seems to be working ok part of the way, it has downloaded the latest speed cameras & they are in the folder on my PC, the Icon is flashing on the taskbar telling me that the downloads are ready for installing. I have connected my 255WT to the PC & that has fired up into the "connected to PC" mode. The icon is still flashing so what do I need to do to get it to install the update or how can I tell if it has been done.

You need to download POIloader from the Garmin web site and then use POloader to download to your Garmin 225
