I'm sure I had this problem a few years ago and am equally sure its simple and is covered on here somewhere.

I have been using a Mio168 for a few years and think its brilliant for the money (and technologically ideal for a ludite like me). I originally ran TT3 then upgraded to TT6.

I recently decided to upgrade the PDA to a Mio P550 and it seems pretty good apart from the well known battery issue.

I have one problem and I'm sure I had it with the 168. The system volume in "settings" is on max and if I tap the bottom of the screen when using the Satnav the slider is on max, but I can hardly hear it, that goes for instructions as well as Liz's camera warnings. I'm using the same SD card as with the 168 so it must be something to do with the PDA. At the moment I can't have the radio on at all if the sat nav's on. Can somebody point me at the solution please.

Aside from using an external speaker I don't think there is another option?
