EGC,

I still think from your OP that you did start to download a new Map and then you had it interupted for whatever reason.
Otherwise when you first tried it would have said expired immediately.

You need to explain this to TT and point out they must be mistaken in there assumption on when it was downloaded.

To clarify, I updated the Navcore when I got the device (created an account and D/L latest Navcore with no problem). When I tried to update the map the D/L would not start, but no error message was given. (A fault with their server maybe?). Anyhow, this happened several times and then I just got the 'expired' message. TT CS maintain that the retailer used the LMG BEFORE the unit was despatched to me.

Retailer is contacting TT on Monday. They have the serial number of my device and say that they KNOW that the device has not been updated (they are a major retailer so maybe have access to TT's database - not sure). Anyway, I imagine they are unhappy at TT trying to buck-pass back to them.
