Hi folks

I have been having a scout round for ideally an amplified and powered mount for my new TT930. I can find a powered mount, but has anyone found anything that is amplified?

Would ideally like something hardwired, along the lines of a Brodit mount, but I can't seem to find anything.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Phil

Not seen one.
How about a standalone Bluetooth speaker?

Hi lostinuk
Before getting my Tomtom 720 I used a PDA and Navigator 5. I was able to buy an amplified Mount for the device and it all worked a treat. However, I have been searching the web and have not found one for your 930. I don’t know what the volume is like on the 930 but on my 720 I find it quite adequate. And my hearing isn’t as good as it once was.
I suppose you could try a Bluetooth speaker as suggested by Andy_p but I think you may find them a little pricey.

That is a possibility, but yet something else to charge and also hideaway!

But if nothing else comes to light, then it's an option I'll consider.

Thanks.

Does the car deck support either Bluetooth A2DP or an aux input socket? as playing the audio via the car deck is a vast improvement using either method, there is also the FM TX which might work depending upon where you live, major cities are difficult to locate a free frequency to tune in to - Mike

No Bluetooth on car deck, or aux input (atleast not from the front). I had wondered about the latter, but thought that if there was one on the rear of the unit, then would it mean that it would mute radio/cd at the time of instruction or warning? Need to establish first if there is an aux input though.

Thanks

Do be aware that if they haven't done it already TomTom are intending to remove the ability to have navigation instructions over the FM output.
Seems non-continuous transmissions are not allowed under some EU telecomms rule.
