Is MapShare currently working?

Hi

I have just got a TT1v4 and have installed TomTomHome and updated the software and firmware to the latest. The firmware is now running at v8.010.

Upon connecting my device I can submit corrections to mapshare no problem but the software still says that my map is 52 weeks out of date and there are 30 thousand Mapshare updates to download. If I click on the mapshare link to download updates it says there are no updates available. I have the UK and ROI map installed.

Also, if I go to the Mapshare Preferences in the TTH software there are no countries listed. On the 2nd tab all the boxes are checked for updates.

Anyone have similar issues?

This is usually an indication of TomTom's servers acting up (again .... sigh Mad

). Nothing wrong on your part. Usual remedy is to try again later .... a couple of hours ... the next day, maybe.

It wasn't working when I tried just now....

Eaxctly teh same symptoms for me, it wasnt working for me on Sunday with a new 520, but worked first thing Monday morning. I had rebooted my PC so maybe that was it or maybe a glitch at the TT end?

It COULD be your PC, but 99% of the time it is TT's servers.

Just got an update from Mapshare last night so looks like it was the Mapshare servers that were down.
