help! can i change software

hi not very bright and need help, i bought a car dvd/cd/radio/cd/gps system from a company called viva, its not bad the gps seems ok but was wondering if i can change it to garmin mapping etc? the unit came with a seperate gps box with a sd card in it which i assume is gps mapping.
any ideas? many thanks

again only details i have to go on is that i bought it on ebay from a power seller besteshop in car dvd/gps if you can look you may be able to help thanks
