Nice one Simon! Now that's what I call kicking ass!! It certainly got you a response and hopefully you will get the gear by the end of the week.
Good luck.

Tom

P.S. Perhaps we should employ similar tactics to get TomTom to sort out the problems with TTN3

Can you give me the address of the TomTom HR person. I've been waiting since the 16 April for my TT3 upgrade. I'm also sick of trying to contact TT to get this resolved, so need to esculate.

Cheers Henry[/u]

IT's arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Installed ok. Traffic done as well and so far in dry running in drive - all worked.. now to find out all the crap that they built into it..

Strangely, I also got an email telling me my order had been shipped five minutes after I got it!

Wonder if the London bus syndrome is about to happen?

My TT3 upgrade has arrived Tuesday (1 June)!!! :D

Howerver I can't get it to install... The install procedure seemed to work OK, but now I just see a set up screen showing files being coppied and not much else...

There seems to be no disk activity... and its been going on for 15 minutes!

I'm running XP any ideas? Crying or Very sad

Henry

I had this when I installed. I (thinking hard) cancelled the installation and then took the ipaq from the dock then reinserted it and then the install continued.

I hope you've got a card reader for the maps!

Just tried your suggestion and it seemed to work. Smile

No problems with the maps, I've a large compact card on the back of it so the map of GB should fit!

Thanks for all your help,

Henry

Well... for those who have read the whole thread.....and followed my problems..

Well, the London Bus Syndrome has taken effect. I am not saying what has happened, but you can all guess.

I've left it still in the wrapper in case they ask for it....Give it four weeks and e-bay here I come!
