Buy a 520 or a 530?can the differencies be downloaded free?

Hi,

I was just about to buy a TomTom 530 when I came accross an article in Amazon where a user was saying that there were only 3 differencies between the 520 and the 530, and that the 520 could get free downloads for all three 'extras' to give the same functionality.
Given there is a big difference in the purchase price .. is he correct?

Would this be a good route to go?

The V8 Software is a free download or will be when it's put back. But you will have to buy the V8 maps to get full functionality when they become available.

Given that new maps will probably be expensive, I imagine that I might be better off buying the 530.
