TomTom ... do they have internal batteries?

Hi,

My trusty PDA with navigator 5 has expired ... but I can no longer live without SatNav.

I am thinking of the TomTom range ... perhaps 520 720, something like that.

Does the unit have an internal battery.... and if so, how long does it last?

Yes, the x20 range has an internal battery. Expect a couple of hours of usage between charges if it's not running from an external power source. I can't recall what TomTom claimed for that series but they claim up to 5 hours for the x30 range. I think you can take that with a pinch of salt, though.
