Go 700 Battery change.

My 700 battery shows fully charged after a days use in the car connected to the adapter but almost discharges fully overnight when it is switched off and I get the red battery flashing Icon on switch on.

Is it possible to change the battery?, if so can anyone help me with the battery type and how to change it.

Have you tried a Search?

Look in the bar above this window.
Click on "Search".
Type "700 Battery" in the first box and select "search for ALL terms".
Select TomTom Go/Rider/One in the "Forum" box.
Click "search"

The first topic found is this one, the third one seems to have a pretty good description.
There are probably others and I've seen a set of photos of the disassembly of a couple of models too, can't remember which, I'm afraid.
