Hmm had the pocket GPS voices & database on my 510 running software v7.162 yesterday for no apparent reason the voices stopped working, now i've used the tomtom clearflash to see if that helped it did sort of...the poi's now have a standard bleep rather than voice...when I go to try & change the option its still sticking to the beep

anyone suggest anything i've missed?

Many thanks

Are the .ogg files still in place in the map folder?
Do their names still match the .ov2 data files?
Have you got a backup from when it was working correctly? If so, try copying the MapSettings.cfg file from the backup and overwriting the one on the Go (again, it is in the map folder).
If not, you could try deleting the one on the Go, reboot and let it create a new one and then start again.

As ever, backup before you mess about (using Explorer not Home), and once you've got it working how you like it, back up again.
