Hi, i have a Tomtom one 3rd edition, it is my 3rd tomtom as the last one was stolen..........the problem i have is that i can't seem to remove the next motorway sign that sits on the top right of the screen taking up precious space, on my old TT2 it was easily removable.....anyone got any idea of a hack or some way of removing it............ Confused

Thx
John

No hack required, it's in the menus (just quite well hidden.... Smile)

Thx for the reply Andy (that was quick) this worked on the v1 and v2 but does not work on v3 you get the four options on that page to tick but by unticking the blue sign on the top right refuses to disappear (trust me i've owned a few sat navs)......... Crying or Very sad

Andy - I think you have identified the required Hack as the menu option you mention is missing from the stock device, I will need to mess around with the custom menu to work out what is required to hack this on the device (if it is possible) - Mike

Apologies, my normal "One 3rd Edition" warning alert didn't trigger like it usually does! Laughing I'll have to change my warning settings!

Change Preferences..
Enable ONE ...
ONE 3rd Edition...
Warn when near..
DO NOT select Warn only on route (then you'll be warned all the time, rather than only when you're travelling that way)..
When asked "Is this the sound you want to use?" answer YES, even though you don't hear a sound (this is a bug in the program which Andy_P is striving to persuade TT to fix).

You don't need to actually drive to try it out, just prepare a route which goes near a ONE 3rd Edition and then execute the Demo (less than 300% speed). Mike has a practice route you could use if you don't know of a ONE near you.
