Hi,
I would like to know what is the difference between PocketGPSWorld Speed Camras and TomTom default Speed Camras features?
Which is better? Regular updated? |

Often asked and answered...
Speed camera database from PocketGPSWorld is a MUCH more comprehensive set of data It is updated more often, and has more camera types (all possible mobile sites for example).
It's slightly cheaper too (£19/year).
Also, as it uses the POI system, it can have voice warnings ("Warning - GATSO ahead, 40 mile per hour limit" etc. sort of thing) for every different camera type, while the TT ones can only have the default bongs on the sound FX page |

Some of the roads on the TT Maps have a speed tagged to them. But be careful because they are not always right.
The setting for this is in Status Barb Preferences in Change Preferences.
The Option to tick, Show max speed next to speed. is on the 2nd Page. _________________ Richard
