2nd 720 unit and unable to download POI's

I just got my 2nd 720 unit. 1st went back with buzzing on handsfree.

I left installed the same version of TT Home and created a new TT account using a new mail address.

All is fine but I can't dwnload some of the free POIs from TT which I downloaded before, as it says on TT Home that they are already installed on the PC but cant be installed on the devie due to content restrictions.

Do I need to uninstall TT Home and install again?

You need to persuade TomTom to switch your POIs to your new account. Reinstalling Home won't do the business. Be prepared for a "good time" doing this. TomTom don't make it easy. An alternative is to persuade them to transfer your new 720 to your old account. They don't make that easy either!! By "don't make it easy" I mean they make it very hard work - they start from a presumption that you are a dirty criminal, trying to rob them of their jewels and the burden of proof that you are not rests with you.

Why use TT POIs? What's wrong with the ones from our site, which are genuinely free and don't come with the silly TomTom baggage?
