key to map symbols

Can someone please tell me where I can find an exlanation of the symbols used on the map (I mean the Google map on the submissions page)

Wouldn't it be an idea to include this on the same page as the map?

Just click your cursor on the symbol and it will be named just above the map.

Thanks folks . . . I've got it at last.

Would it be possible to put a note explaining this feature somewhere near the map? I spent HOURS searching the site trying to find out what those symbols mean.
