Co-Pilot V7 does not work with FS Loox N560

I emailed ALK with a few questions re V6 to V7 upgrade, one of which was "is it compatible with the FS Pocket Loox N560". Reason for the question is that it is not one of the devices listed on the upgrade site.
I got the response (reasonably quickly I have to say): "Please make sure your device meets the system requirements listed before purchasing the product upgrades."
Well the only system requirement I could see on the web-site was Windows Mobile, so I ordered the European upgrade.
While this install on the PDA went OK and it functions perfectly as a GPS device, I cannot now communicate with my host PC via ActiveSync or the internet via WLAN or ActiveSync.
When placed in the cradle, I get the customary USB connection tones and Activesync pops up, but the device never connects.
When I connect to my WLAN I get a LAN connection OK, but Internet Explorer gives the error " The page you are looking for cannot be found due to unknown error 0x800c0003" any time I try and look at any non-local site.
The CoPilot Central software on my desktop is also incompatible with something on my machine as I get an "alk.copilot.updater" error every time it starts up and an "Unhandled exception" error whenever I access the Purchase Upgrades screen or click anything on it.
It works fine on my Laptop... except for not actually talking to my PDA!

So I'm not an altogether happy bunny! I have emailed ALK tech support, but as yet, no response.
