Road Angel 9000 Traffic

I have been reading a lot in this Forum lately and a lot seem to be very disappointed with Tom Tom traffic updates.

I have been using a Road Angel 9000 and I pay £5.95 a month for traffic updates. I never have reception problems as it has an inbuilt GSM card from orange and to be honest I have tried this for several weeks and the traffic alerts have been excellent. It's a shame not many people have this device as it be good to get other people opinions.

It’s probably not the best navigation software as it is currently only using 2007.1 Teleatlas maps and does not have all the features of a Tom Tom like hand free calling etc. There are a lot of features missing.

However if you want a decent device for mainly traffic and just navigation this could be the one. It is expensive but could be worth it if you travel a lot.

Oh should also add with the £5.95 you get speed camera updates and this device has not missed one. That includes specs as well, it's very accurate.
