hi everyone,
this is my first post here.
i am about to buy and additonal gps and i thought of buying the ttone v3 uk/roi edition.
i know that it only has 512mb internal memory but i would like to find out how big is the free space available for additional maps and stuff?
any info will be gratefully appreciated.

I assume you mean the ONE 3rd Edition (It's not the same thing as the "v3" - its complicated, but that was an older model).
There's no space at all for extra maps. Things like POI files though are tiny, so will fit OK.

Have you seen Mike Alder's excellent review of the ONE 3rd Edition HERE? (from where that quote comes). Essential reading, I would say, as it points out some of the major differences between this model and every other TT before or since, such as the lack of Itinerary planning and User-POI management "out of the box".
Mike, if you're reading this; have you got the power as a mod to make your review a "sticky". I think it is worth it, and it is getting very lost at the moment! Or if Mike thinks that is "blowing his own trumpet", can another one do it for him?
