1mph Speed Alert on Garmin Nuvi

Thanks to everybody for their help, the problem is now solved.
Apparently when I was entering Custom POIs, several got entered twice as I did not fully understand the system. My computer labelled the second entry with a 1 to its sub folder name, consequently whenever I went near a POI with a 1 in it's description, I got a 1mph warning. I deleted the duplicates and all is now well.
I hope this posting may help anybody else who gets a similar problem
