This is the instructions I got from TomTom suport for my ONE.

1. Go to home software.
2. Remove QuickGPSfix from TT1 and disconnect TT1.
3. Go outside, turn on your TT1.
4. Tap on satellite/signal icon. it will take you to another screen.
5. Tap on satellite icon again.
6. Click on configure button then click on done.
7. Wait for your TT1 get signals (satellites bar will turn blue). This may take up to 20-30minutes (that what support said). Mine took only 5 minutes.
8. Come back inside.
9. Install QuickGPSfix. Run update TT1(you will probably get a new QuickGPSFix update).
10. Disconnect your TT1 and repeat steps 3-6 again.

after this it should take less time to get a signal. Mine went from 2-3 minutes to less then a minute.

Hope this helps.

Hi.
Did anyone manage to solve the slow fix times?
I´m having the same problem,mine is a One s/n:E#####(SIRF 3).
I´ve tried everything.Reset, reinstall v7.131,reinstall v6.56 with gps firmware update, restore to factory defaults, updated QuickGPSfix files etc..
The only way to get a fast fix is to insert a memory card with the "old"v6.56!!
