European Mapping for Bluemedia BM-6300 MKII

Hi Guys/Gals,

Just upgraded from my trusty Garmin Street Pilot III, and I was wondering if anybody knew anyway of getting the Destinator 6 European maps for the Bluemedia BM-6300 MKII without paying the rediculous £99.99 that everywhere is asking for!. If that's not possible, is it possible to change the operating system on this unit to use more readily available maps?.

Also, will upgrading to Destinator 6 allow me to perform 7 digit postcode searches?
